10/12/03 ~ I had some exciting news last week.
Mo Menzel, a
lady from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra called and said that
I was one of twelve NJ artists who had been chosen to be commissioned
to create individual works of art using an actual violin as their
canvas.
The group of transformed violins will go on tour throughout the
state and will be displayed at many locations and events for
six months. Then they will be raffled off on June 25th of 2004.
Also the finished pieces will be photographed to be included
in a twelve month calendar.
The NJ Symphony
Orchestra needs to have the finished painted violin and painting
back by November 10th in order to photograph it for the calendar.
