I waited for my underpainting to dry, I scoped out the neighborhood.
I decided I really wanted to do the same view Tony had chosen.
I figured I could try to recall and imitate his approach. I would
need all the help I could get using an underpainting for the
first time and dealing with this massive rather complicated structure. |

is my pattern sketch. I was not satisfied with the results of
my on location painting. I finished it anyway, then did this
studio version when I got home. |
