On the last day
I got up at the crack of dawn, stopped at the local Dunkin' Donuts
for a large cup of coffee and some Munchkins and headed over
to the Hotel Studio, my "Surprise Bouquet", painting
supplies and portable CD player in tow. I
was on a mission. Jerry had sent a beautiful bouquet to my hotel
room for our 3rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday. I knew I couldn't
take it home with me, so I decided to do the next best thing! I had the place to myself, so I listened to my
new age / native music and painted to my heart's content. I had
fnished the painting by 8:30 when the other students began to
wander in.
I gave the flowers
to Tony and his lovely wife, Jan to take home in their car with
them. They had also just celebrated their 3rd anniversary. They
were thrilled with them and I was happy to have gotten so much
milage out of them. Later that day, I had Tony look at my painting.
He suggested I add the "cave art" background like I
did on the other floral I did while I was there.
