Our group of 27 met at our classroom/studio at 9am Monday morning, as we did each morning thereafter, at the Trade Winds Hotel in Rockland, Maine. After instructions from Tony, we carpooled over to our painting location, a quaint residential New England neighborhood where Tony did his half sheet watercolor demonstration. A confident instructor and painter, Tony lectured and joked as he painted.

After the demo we were cut-loose to find our own inspiration. I found mine almost instantly; the charming guesthouse / workshop / garden shed!
