The keynotes of both the horse and the eagle
is freedom and strength. Horses have great appeal to most people,
and riding one can raise us above the mun- dane and renew our
own sense of power. Before domestication of the horse, mankind
was earthbound, slow and heavy laden. Afterwards, we became as
free and as fleet as the wind. The eagle represents illumination
of the spirit and is a symbol of creative energy and psychic
abilities. The horse also has been associated with divination,
magic and clairvoyance by many cultures. The white feathers of
the bald eagle are treasured by Native Americans as being links
to great wisdom, healing and creation. The eagle symbolizes divine
spirit and discovery of the inner child. The horse is shown as
an upper level Dressage horse, signifying extreme trainability.
The colors used on Sky Dancer are also significant.
The sky is golden yellow symbolizing communication, optimism
and inspiration. The white and pinkish clouds speak of humility,
sharing, spirit and truth. The brown color of the horse signifies
new growth and groundedness.
