July 30thth 2007 ~ Universe / Hummingbirds
Dear Friends ~
The universe is one big energy field and
everything in it is made up of
energy. You and I are energy fields, operating in a larger energy
field.
It's been proven that energy can't be created or destroyed. It
just changes
form. Thus, we must all be eternal energy! We possess the power
to
harness and direct this source, which can produce
great abundance in our lives!

July 26th 2007 ~ Energy / Horses
Dear Friends ~
Everything in the universe is made up
of energy. I believe God is energy
and so are we. Thoughts are magnetic and have a frequency which
attract
like energy. This is broadcast back to us in our life. This is
why we must
always think positive thoughts. Love and gratitude are the most
powerful
energy frequencies. These have the power to dissolve every negativity.

Energy Quotations:
"We perceive abstraction and
figuration as contradictory. In contradiction lies energy
Most things that are important come in part out of contradiction."
~ Catherine Murphy
"A man cannot have the energy
to produce good art without having the energy to wish
to pass beyond it." ~ G. K. Chesterton
"Energy is eternal delight; and
from the earliest times human beings have tried to imprison
it in some durable hieroglyphic. It is perhaps the first of all
the subjects of art." ~ Kenneth Clark

July 23rd 2007 ~ The Power Of Myth / Eagle
Dear Friends ~
I am deeply moved by the knowledge and
perspective of this compassionate spiritual mentor.
Joseph Campbell, author and scholar, was the foremost authority
on the heroic myths of many
cultures. In his book published in 1949, "Hero With A Thousand
Faces", the hero pattern
shared by all cultures is presented in great detail. "Myths
are the world's dreams", he said. In
the 1988 interviews on DVD with Bill Moyers, "The Power
Of Myth", Joe stated that an artist's
function is the mytholization of the world. It's the artist's
duty to keep the myths alive, he stressed.
His belief was that both myths and dreams come from realizations
of some basic human
condition. These insights can be social, cosmological or spiritual
and have to find expression
in symbolic or metaphorical form, because it's a truth that can't
be grasped in any other way.

Myth Quotations:
"A myth is an image in terms
of which we try to make sense of the world." ~ Alan Watts
"Each time, storytellers clothed
the naked body of the myth in their own traditions, so that
listeners could relate more easily to its deeper meaning."
~ Joan D. Vinge
"Myth is an attempt to narrate
a whole human experience, of which the purpose is too deep,
going too deep in the blood and soul, for mental explanation
or description." ~ D. H. Lawrence

July 19th 2007 ~ Magic Eye / Hawk
Dear Friends ~
On Tuesday, July 17th, I got up early
to do my chores and was ready at exactly 7:11
to start "Firing The Grid". Sitting outside, staring
up at the Northern sky while listening
to a meditation CD, I gave thanks for all the joy and abundance
in my life. After a short
time, my eye focus switched like when viewing a Magic Eye®
3D stereogram. On the
horizon, I started seeing sparkling images. Shortly, many star
like objects became very
visible to me in the daylight sky. These twinkled, swirled and
danced. A loving blanket
of energy and light hugged Mother Earth. Incredibly hypnotizing,
this display lasted the
entire hour! Now, I'm more convinced than ever of the power of
collective thought. Wow!

July 16th 2007 ~ Fire The Grid / Joy
Dear Friends ~
Tomorrow, on July 17th, millions of people
will unite globally at the exact same time and
for one hour will concentrate on maintaining a joyful thought
frequency. Again, the one-hour
"Fire the Grid" event will begin at 11:11 am Greenwich
Mean Time which is 7:11 am for
East coasters and 4:11 am. for you on the West coast. As you
listen to uplifting music, you can
walk, dance, sing, meditate, pray or simply do anything that
gives you joy. All focused
gratitude and joy will help lift your field and will enhance
the frequency of the planet. If you
can't get up or have something else going on at that time, write
out your intentions and thoughts
before hand about healing the earth. Also list what makes you
happy and what you are grateful
for so we can all join forces and move towards this common cause.
What have you got to lose?
It certainly won't hurt!
===<<>>===
Some Quaotations on Joy:
"If the sight of the blue skies
fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the field
has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a
message that you understand, rejoice,
for your soul is alive." ~ Eleonora Duse
"One joy scatters a hundred griefs."
~ Chinese proverb
"This is the true joy in life;
the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty
one,
the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap
heap, the being a force of nature
instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances
complaining that the world
will not devote itself to making you happy." ~ George Bernard
Shaw
"When you follow your bliss,
you begin to meet people who are
in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. "

Some Quotations On Ideas:
"The more ideas one is free to
explore, the more likely a truly creative idea can emerge."
~ Michael Bell
"I can't understand why people
are afraid of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones."
~ John Cage

I myself have no special gift. Curiosity, obsession and
dogged endurance, combined with self-critique, have brought me
my ideas." ~ Albert Einstein

July 9th 2007 ~ Fire The Grid / Bringer Of Spring
Dear Friends ~
I just got an email from one of our members,
Doris Vaccaro, about an important
project which will be taking place in only nine days, on July
17th, 2007. It is called
"Fire The Grid". The basic idea is that millions of
people will join together at
the exact same time and for one hour will concentrate on healing
our mother earth.
The one-hour "Fire the Grid" event will begin at 11:11
am Greenwich Mean Time
on Tuesday, 17th July, 2007. For people on Eastern Standard time,
it's 7:11 am. For
people in California, the perfect cosmic hour starts at 4:11
am. Yes, 4:11 am! The
atmosphere will be so alive with special energy that morning,
you probably won't be
able to sleep anyway! FYI, the most creative time of each day
is
from 3 am to 5 am local time.

"We artists can only go so far
as the people can follow us. We are not alone, we are
part of the system. We can take risks, but if you want to go
to the peak of your
consciousness, you may very well find yourself alone. Even if
you know how to
translate what you see, maybe only ten people will be able to
understand what you tell.
But, if you have faith in your vision, and retell it again and
again, you will start noticing
that, after a time, more people will begin to catch up with you."

July 5th 2007 ~ Dreams / Spider
Dear Friends ~
Spider is a persistent creature and teaches
the art of skilled construction and patience.
If a web is knocked down, soon a new one will replace it. This
creature just does not give up!
If this insect has come to you, perhaps it is time to give your
dreams another go.

Today I'm posting some quotes on Dreams:
"Dreams are the seedlings of
realities." (James Allen)
"If you can DREAM it, you can
DO it." (Walt Disney)
"Myths are the world's dreams.
They are archetypal dreams and deal with great human problems.
Myths and dreams come from the same place. They come from realizations
of some
kind that then have to find expression in symbolic form."
(Joseph Campbell)
"All our dreams can come true
if we have the courage to pursue them." (Walt Disney)

July 2nd 2007 ~ Discovery / Jersey Devil
Dear Friends ~
Often people tell me that they are not
talented and could not draw a straight line; they tried it once.
That's when I come back with my spiel that painting is more of
an acquired skill than an inborn one.
It all boils down to desire, I say. You have to possess strong
discipline, an attitude of discovery and
the tenacity to learn by making mistakes.
===<<>>===
In the mirror of your paper you will
discover your identity as an artist. (Rex Brandt)
You will learn to enjoy the process...
and to surrender your need to control the result.
You will discover the joy of practicing your creativity. The
process,
not the product, will become your focus. (Julia Cameron)
We make our discoveries while in the
state of high functioning because then we are clear-sighted.

An artist's working life is marked
by intensive application and intense discipline. (John F. Kennedy)
